Title: Technician III, A&P

Location: United States-Illinois-Rockford

Job Number: 18368

Technician III, A/P. This is an entry level position ideal for new graduates from Technical or A&P school. Also ideal for mechanics with less than five years of heavy aircraft experience.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Performing basic aircraft maintenance tasks under supervision.
  • Ensuring all work performed adheres to high quality standards.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Must have a minimum of 1-year related experience and/or training.
  • A&P license preferred but not required.
  • Some maintenance experience (including relative experience outside of Aviation).
  • Must possess the ability to learn.
  • Must be able to use FAA approved data (i.e. IPC, M/M, OHM, SRM) proficiently.

Compensation:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $19.61 to $24.13 hourly. This range reflects the base pay for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location. AAR offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/dental/vision/life/and AD&D insurance, 401(k) savings plan with employer match, paid time off and holiday pay, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
